Role summary

Rion Aesthetics, a regenerative medicine company, seeks a Business Development Manager to identify, evaluate, and close new business opportunities with aesthetic clinics, dermatology practices, and strategic partners. This customer-facing role involves full sales cycle management, relationship building, market intelligence gathering, and collaboration with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have proven B2B sales and business development skills in life sciences, aesthetics, or medical devices, strong account management abilities, commercial strategy expertise, and analytical skills. Experience in aesthetics or regenerative medicine is strongly preferred. The role is based in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica and requires travel.

Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full time, customer facing (in person) role based in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and closing new business opportunities with aesthetic clinics, dermatology practices, med spas and strategic partners. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations and managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach to onboarding. The position also involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with key accounts, gathering market intelligence, and providing feedback to marketing, product development, and medical affairs teams. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support product launches, develop territory plans, attend industry conferences, and ensure revenue targets and growth objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • Proven business development and B2B sales skills, including lead generation and pipeline management in life sciences, aesthetics, medical devices, or skincare.
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills, with the ability to engage physicians, clinic owners and other healthcare professionals.
  • Commercial strategy and market development abilities, including territory planning, opportunity assessment, and execution of go-to-market initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain scientific and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort with sales metrics, forecasting, competitive analysis, and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Experience in aesthetics, dermatology, regenerative medicine, or biotechnology is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally to national conferences and company meetings.
