Sign up to see compensation estimateUnder general supervision, the goal of Software Engineer is to develop integrations between multiple DMP platforms.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Ability to understand and debug programming languages and frameworks including PHP, Java, and Codeignitor.
- Experience with web design and UI/UX.
- Experience with scaling web applications.
- Experience working with and creating API’s (SOAP, REST, PYTHON and JSON).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to maintain information in strict confidence.
- Proven punctuality, good work attitude, and ability to work cooperatively with others in the department and company.
- Accept and benefit from constructive criticism.
- Demonstrated excellent attendance.
- Flexible with additional time.
- Any other equivalent combination of training and experience.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops integrations between multiple DMP systems to increase productivity.
- Resolves problems and meets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
- Documents tasks in JIRA.
- Prepares daily status updates for Director of Information Technology.
- Engages in team code inspections and supports DMP coding standards.
- Develops in-depth knowledge of security industry and its products. Researches technologies applied in other industries, namely the computer and communications industries, for possible applications in the security industry.
- Protects operation by keeping information confidential.
- Observes company policies. Continuously strives to find processes that create improved efficiency while maintaining conformance to requirements.
- Observes and adheres to DMP Data Classification Standard.
- May perform related duties or fill in for others in the department or other departments when requested. May train or instruct fellow workers regarding own duties.
- Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned. Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.
