Director of Software Engineering

We’re seeking a dynamic Director of Software Engineering to lead our global web teams building scalable, high-performance applications used by millions worldwide. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll shape the future of our web platform, deliver impactful customer-facing experiences, and mentor top-tier engineering talent.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and grow multiple engineering teams (on-site & remote) focused on building modern web applications at scale.
• Drive the web platform roadmap and partner closely with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
• Establish best practices, technical standards, and scalable architecture patterns to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
• Influence strategic decisions and act as a thought leader in web engineering practices and emerging technologies.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years building customer-facing web applications at scale
• 5+ years leading engineering teams with proven mentorship and leadership skills
• Strong hands-on experience with modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Node.js), APIs (GraphQL, REST), Java, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Deep understanding of scalable architectures, microservices, CI/CD, observability, and performance tuning
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
