Role summary
Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineer I to join their team in developing and implementing computer-based products for military customers. The role requires proficiency in C++, Python, and Bash scripting within a Linux environment, along with experience in Git-based tools, virtualization, and containerization. Responsibilities include supporting electronic warfare systems, developing specifications, implementing system designs, and conducting system testing. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field is required, along with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. A background in math or physics, and interest in RF signals and radar technologies are desired.

### Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience with software engineering and the development using Git based tools.
- Proficiency with C++, Python, and Bash scripting in a Linux operating environment.
- Working knowledge of virtualization and containerization.
- Math or physics background desired.
- Interest and understanding of RF signals and radar technologies.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret clearance or higher.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.
Job Responsibilities: (Not all-inclusive)
- Support programs related to electronic warfare systems.
- Work in a structured, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Development of requirements and design specifications.
- Implementation of developed system specifications, test plan, and procedure development.
- System testing and installation support.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually
