Brand Design Intern
Role summary
Smartly is seeking a Brand Design Intern for a full-time summer internship in Chicago. The intern will support creative projects in digital design, social content, and brand storytelling, collaborating with designers, marketers, and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include creating digital illustrations, graphics, and visual assets, assisting with social media creative, supporting presentations in Figma and Google Slides, and maintaining brand consistency. The role requires current college students pursuing a design or related degree, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, and strong organizational and communication skills. The internship is paid $20/hour and runs from June 16th to August 20th, 2026, with a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you’ll support creative projects across digital design, social content, and brand storytelling while working closely with designers, marketers, and cross-functional teams. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-moving environment while contributing to work seen across Smartly’s brand channels and campaigns.
This is a full-time summer internship based in our Chicago office with a hybrid schedule of three in-office days per week. Lunch is provided Tuesday through Thursday..
