We are seeking an
Executive Assistant
to provide direct operational support to Solid’s Executive Team Members and Direct Reports. This is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant looking to take the next step in their career, supporting a strong Executive Leadership team in an emerging and purpose-driven company.
This role will report to the Team Lead, Senior Executive Assistant, and will be based in Solid’s Corporate Headquarters located in Hood Park in Charlestown, MA and is a fully onsite position, with the expectation of flexibility to accommodate after hours and weekend tasks as needed.
Key Position Responsibilities
- Day-to-day calendar management for an extremely busy Executive Team member as well as direct reports
- Working at a dynamic pace, requiring flexibility and partnership in ensuring both are positioned for success
- Full travel and expense management for leaders frequently traveling, supporting travel plans, logistics, and helping with balancing internal and external commitments
- Operational leadership and preparation of key company events, such as Internal Advisory Boards and Board of Director meetings
- Working on a team of 3 Executive Assistants collaborating on overall operational support to Solid’s Executive Leadership team, while also providing direct support to the Team Lead in coordinating priorities, streamlining communication, and ensuring alignment across leadership initiatives
Key Competencies & Experience Requirements
- 8-12+ years of related administrative experience, with previous experience supporting executives in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry required
- A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and quick to learn new software and applications as required
- Flexibility to accommodate after hours and weekend tasks as needed
- Exceptional time management skills, including calendar management skills with strong attention to detail and informed prioritization
- Mastery of travel coordination for multiple senior leaders and timely expense management, showing an ability to independently manage dynamic schedules requiring high level executive support
- Demonstrates poise and composure in navigating challenging assignments and providing Executive-level support for a high-performing team
- Unimpeachable ethics, confidentiality, and a proven capacity to demonstrate sound judgment and maintain discretion when handling or exposed to sensitive material and/or key organizational information
- Consistently demonstrates assertiveness, composure, and an ability to communicate and work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders with varied working styles, exhibiting the highest level of responsiveness
- Demonstrates professionalism, modeling continuous improvement through embracing feedback and opportunities to elevate Executive support
- A creative problem solver who actively seeks possibilities, develops solutions, anticipates needs, and takes initiative without requiring ongoing direction
Compensation
The base compensation range for this role is: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an internal analysis utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short-term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward individual performance and align incentives to Solid’s long term company performance.
