Role summary

Spektra Systems is seeking a remote Sales Development Team Lead to manage and coach their CloudLabs SDR team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end outbound sales motion, including playbook development, targeting, and conversion, with a direct impact on delivering qualified opportunities to Account Executives. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of sales development experience, a proven ability to improve conversion rates, proficiency with CRM and outbound sales platforms, and a strong coaching mindset with operational discipline. Experience in technical or cloud product sales, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem, is a plus.

This is a remote position.

Time:Overlap with US business hours
Currently remote but may transition to onsite in Future - Bangalore-based candidates preferred

Spektra Systems is looking for a Sales Development Team Lead to lead our CloudLabs SDR team. You will own the outbound motion end to end — playbook, coaching, targeting, and conversion — and be directly accountable for delivering a consistent flow of qualified opportunities to our Account Executives.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach, and develop the SDR team day to day, with a focus on conversion quality and professional growth.
  • Own and continuously improve the outbound playbook: ICP definition, sequencing, messaging, and cadence design.
  • Own team-level meeting-booked and SQL conversion targets, and hold individual SDRs to clear, measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Demand Generation on inbound lead handling and with Account Executives on meeting and opportunity quality.
  • Maintain CRM and outbound tooling hygiene and deliver regular performance reporting.
  • Build the onboarding and ramp programme for new SDR hires.

Requirements

What you bring:

  • 4+ years in sales development, including experience as a senior SDR or team lead.
  • A demonstrated ability to drive conversion improvement - not just volume.
  • Proficiency with CRM and outbound sales platforms.
  • A coaching mindset combined with strong process and operational discipline.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in technical or cloud product sales, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem.
