This role partners with business teams to identify opportunities for applying data science solutions and delivering data-driven products that create business value. The position focuses on identifying, prototyping, and building advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to improve decision-making, workflows, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and frame opportunities to apply advanced analytics, modeling, and related technologies
- Evaluate the business value of proposed data science solutions
- Identify required data sources and appropriate technologies to solve business challenges
- Clean, prepare, and analyze data
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning and statistical models
- Establish lifecycle management processes for models
- Engage with business stakeholders to present outcomes and identify new opportunities
- Provide technical mentoring in modeling, analytics technologies, and consulting practices
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience applying data science, machine learning, or AI to real-world problems
- Strong background in advanced analytics, including machine learning, statistics, operations research, or data mining
- Proficiency in Python and R
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its ecosystem
- Experience engaging with both business and technical stakeholders across multiple levels
- Demonstrated ability to identify and apply data science solutions to improve workflows and decision-making
- Experience in generative AI, including building agentic solutions
- Working knowledge of midstream operations
- Strong collaboration skills across functional and geographic teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
