About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Developer focused on building and maintaining Rain's rewards and co-brand platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, updating, and expanding our third-party rewards programs, primarily in collaboration with Rain’s major league sports partners. You will also play a key role in embedding innovative payment solutions within these applications. The successful candidate will take ownership of the technical stack and codebases governing our third-party rewards and co-branded payment initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech and blockchain technology, interacting with smart contracts across multiple blockchain chains. You will contribute to the technical and product roadmap, helping to shape the future of Rain’s rewards ecosystem and payment solutions.
Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Typescript, NextJS, Tailwind, and NodeJS (experience with a subset is acceptable)
• Strong understanding of web development best practices and architecture
• Experience working with blockchain technology and interacting with smart contracts across multiple chains
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code
• Experience with fintech products, especially neobank or card issuing platforms (preferred but not mandatory)
• Familiarity with decentralized applications (dApps) is a plus
• Proactive builder mentality with a passion for experimentation and side projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and influence the technical and product roadmap for Rain’s rewards and co-branded payment platforms
• Develop, maintain, and enhance products across the technology stack, focusing on rewards programs and payment integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed new payment solutions and features into applications
• Design, implement, and optimize smart contract interactions across multiple blockchain chains
• Participate in architectural decisions to support the company’s growth and scalability
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are met through rigorous testing and review processes
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve product offerings
