About The Role
We’re hiring a Lead Data Analyst, Growth Science, to leverage advanced scientific methods to estimate the incrementality of Marketing, Product, and Lifecycle Marketing initiatives and to enhance their effectiveness. As a senior individual contributor, you will spearhead high-impact growth projects by employing techniques such as media mix modeling, experimentation, quasi-experimental designs, and predictive modeling. Your role will be pivotal in shaping how we measure incrementality and optimize performance across various business functions. You will collaborate closely with vendors developing our media mix models, design and execute complex experiments beyond traditional A/B testing, and develop predictive models to improve marketing and product outcomes. Additionally, you will mentor other analysts, fostering technical rigor and best practices within the team. This position offers a competitive salary starting at $152,000 and up to $210,000, along with bonuses, equity packages, and comprehensive benefits. In This Role, You Can Expect To
- Partner with vendors to develop and refine media mix models.
- Design, execute, and interpret results from complex experiments and quasi-experiments.

Qualifications
- PhD in statistics, economics, or a related social science field with a focus on quantitative methods.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in applied science roles, especially in predictive modeling and causal inference.
- Deep expertise in media mix modeling, experimentation, and quasi-experimental designs.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with AI and machine learning techniques to accelerate analytical processes.
- Experience in FinTech and marketing domains is highly preferred.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide strategic decision-making in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated impact on business outcomes through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of media mix models in collaboration with external vendors.
- Design and conduct complex experiments and quasi-experiments to evaluate marketing initiatives.
- Create and validate predictive models that enhance the performance of marketing and product strategies.
- Partner with marketing, product, and lifecycle teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Mentor junior analysts, promoting best practices in statistical analysis and experimentation.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
