About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Leader to join Stripe’s ML Foundations and Gen AI team. In this strategic role, you will lead a cross-functional team dedicated to incubating new machine learning (ML) and large language model (LLM) applications, enhancing our ML capabilities, and developing infrastructure that empowers Stripe’s entire ecosystem. Your primary focus will be to define, develop, and scale innovative AI-powered products that drive meaningful business outcomes across our platform. You will collaborate closely with product leaders across various business units to craft an AI-centric product strategy, ensuring the deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions that delight users and foster trust. Additionally, you will be instrumental in advancing Stripe’s core AI technology stack, enabling teams to infuse their products with intelligent agents and continuous improvement capabilities through robust APIs and tooling.
Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering successful and innovative software products powered by machine learning
• Deep understanding of ML and applied AI technology stacks
• Proven ability to influence company strategy and collaborate with business leaders on transformation initiatives
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data for decision-making
• Empathy for end-users, with a passion for building products that foster joy, trust, and satisfaction
• Experience working on both first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) products
• Desire to push the pace of innovation and relentlessly improve product quality
• Ability to work in a flexible environment, either in-office or remotely, with a focus on collaboration and results

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Stripe-wide strategy for new ML/AI applications across our product suite
• Identify and prioritize investment areas for ML/AI initiatives in collaboration with product leaders
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute the product roadmap and successfully launch innovative ML/AI solutions
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership to ensure alignment on strategic objectives
• Drive the advancement of Stripe’s ML/AI infrastructure, tooling, and platform capabilities
• Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI applications, iterating to improve outcomes and user experience
• Stay informed on the latest developments in AI and ML to incorporate best practices and emerging technologies
