About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our dynamic team responsible for the development and enhancement of HungerRush 360. This full-stack engineering position involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying new features and functionalities for our cloud-based POS system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, with the ability to contribute across the entire development lifecycle—from gathering requirements and system design to implementation and documentation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will help shape a positive development culture, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. In addition, you will play a vital role in integrating AI-driven features to streamline processes and improve business outcomes. This role is remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization at the forefront of restaurant technology innovation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Successful track record delivering SaaS, e-commerce, or consumer-facing web applications and APIs
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud computing (preferably Azure), and modern architectures
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies including C#, Azure, and SQL Server
- Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and best practices for security and performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and support existing and new functionalities for HungerRush 360
