Role summary

Surface Labs, an applied AI lab building the Lead Operations Center for B2B marketing teams, is seeking a Founding GTM (SDR track) to scale their outbound motion. Backed by notable investors, the company has driven significant pipeline for customers using AI agents. This role offers high ownership and GTM exposure, working directly with the CEO to run outbound experiments and open doors at target companies. Responsibilities include managing the full pipeline from targeting to follow-up, maintaining CRM hygiene, and hitting meeting quotas. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in sales or customer-facing roles, experience with prospecting tools, and a relentless, high-energy approach.

In the last 3 months, we just grew from 5 → 10 people across Engineering, Design, and are now bringing on a Founding GTM (SDR track) to scale our outbound motion.

**The Role**

You'll work directly with the CEO to run outbound experiments and open doors at the right companies. High ownership, real GTM exposure.

**What You’ll Do**

* Run outbound across cold calls, LinkedIn, email, and in-person (SF events + occasional travel)
* Own the full pipeline: targeting → messaging → scheduling → follow-up
* Maintain CRM hygiene and hit monthly meeting quotas

**You’re a Fit If You…**

* 1–3 years in sales, GTM, or customer-facing roles (or strong hustle background)
* You've done the unglamorous work: built prospect lists from scratch, sat down and ground out cold calls and emails for a full day, and done it again the next day
* Comfortable with outbound and rejection
* Used prospecting tools like Clay, Sales Navigator, or Apollo
* Someone who’s relentless, high-energy, and always looking to keep growing

**Nice To Have**

* Experience pitching B2B SaaS or GTM tech tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, marketing automation, etc.)
* Technical interest or experience (vibe coding, Claude Code, etc)
* Willing to find ways to automate your job using AI automations/ code

* Base: $90k-120k
* Equity: 0.05%–0.2% (4-year vest, 1-year cliff)
