Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Purpose of the Team:
The team is dedicated to executing prewritten manual test scripts and reporting product anomalies when found. Responsibilities may also include running automated test tools and performing analysis of results, along with basic computer configuration and application compatibility testing. Team members work under the supervision of more senior testers and should have a general knowledge of personal computers, application software, or operating systems.
- Key Projects:
This role will contribute to modernizing the consumer identity experience and implementing a new product known as External ID or Siam.
- The role involves participating in bug bashes, ensuring that projects are functioning according to specifications before release to production. It also includes exploratory testing, which involves conducting a suite of manual tests for build validation.
Qualifications:
- Degrees or Certifications Required:
Bachelor's degree, technical training certification, Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience/training.
- Basic ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Demonstrated investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with the product lifecycle is preferred, along with the ability to quickly learn new information.
- Experience with testing tools such as Fiddler is ideal.
- Similar experience is considered a bonus but not required.
- Years of Experience Required:
1-2 years of experience in the field.
- 1-2 years of experience with testing using tools such as Fiddler.
- 1-2 years of experience with web applications and testing in web browsers.
- 1-2 years of experience with testing on Android and iOS devices.
