Salesforce Integration Automation Engineer
Role summary
The Salesforce Integration Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test plans for Salesforce implementations, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role involves comprehensive testing coverage, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT. The engineer will validate data integrity, workflows, and automation using tools like Flows, Process Builder, and Apex triggers. A key aspect of this role is executing API and integration testing for external system connections and supporting test automation efforts with tools such as Provar, Selenium, and Salesforce DX. The position also requires strong defect management, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with development and business teams to ensure release readiness and compliance with quality and security standards in an Agile environment.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Salesforce Test Design & Execution – Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios for Salesforce implementations including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom solutions.
Comprehensive Testing Coverage – Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure Salesforce features meet business and technical requirements.
Salesforce Configuration & Data Validation – Validate data integrity, workflows, validations, reports, dashboards, and automation using Flows, Process Builder, and Apex triggers.
Integration & API Testing – Execute API and integration testing to validate Salesforce integrations with external systems and downstream applications.
Test Automation Support – Support and enhance Salesforce test automation efforts using tools such as Provar, Selenium, and Salesforce DX where applicable.
Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis – Analyze test results, document defects with clear root cause analysis, and track issues through resolution using defect tracking tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, and product owners to ensure timely defect resolution and release readiness. Quality, Security & Release Compliance – Ensure Salesforce releases adhere to quality standards, security requirements, and Agile deployment best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities

Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 a year
