Role summary

The Salesforce Integration Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, test cases, and scenarios for Salesforce implementations, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This role involves comprehensive testing coverage, including functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing, to ensure features meet business and technical requirements. The engineer will validate data integrity, workflows, and automation using tools like Flows, Process Builder, and Apex triggers, and perform API and integration testing for external system connections. Support for test automation efforts using Provar, Selenium, and Salesforce DX is crucial, as is defect management with root cause analysis. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring release compliance with quality, security, and Agile best practices are key responsibilities.

Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Salesforce Test Design & Execution – Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios for Salesforce implementations including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom solutions.
Comprehensive Testing Coverage – Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure Salesforce features meet business and technical requirements.
Salesforce Configuration & Data Validation – Validate data integrity, workflows, validations, reports, dashboards, and automation using Flows, Process Builder, and Apex triggers.
Integration & API Testing – Execute API and integration testing to validate Salesforce integrations with external systems and downstream applications.
Test Automation Support – Support and enhance Salesforce test automation efforts using tools such as Provar, Selenium, and Salesforce DX where applicable.
Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis – Analyze test results, document defects with clear root cause analysis, and track issues through resolution using defect tracking tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, and product owners to ensure timely defect resolution and release readiness. Quality, Security & Release Compliance – Ensure Salesforce releases adhere to quality standards, security requirements, and Agile deployment best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom implementations.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to ensure Salesforce features meet business and technical requirements.
  • Validate data integrity, workflows, validations, reports, dashboards, and automation (Flows, Process Builder, Apex triggers).
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, business analysts, and product owners to identify defects and ensure timely resolution.

  • Document test results, log defects with clear root cause analysis, and track issues through resolution.
  • Ensure Salesforce releases comply with quality standards, security requirements, and deployment best practices in Agile environments.

Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 a year
