
Technical Product Manager
Role summary
TCP (TimeClock Plus) is seeking a Technical Product Manager with 5+ years of experience in product management at a technology company. This role will drive product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, manage the product lifecycle from discovery to launch, and translate customer business needs into application requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical designs and architecture, demonstrate excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and be proficient in Agile & Scrum processes. This position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and engineering leaders to ensure successful product delivery and adoption. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will:
- Drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for product portfolio.
- Lead the execution of the roadmap and release objectives.
- Manage product lifecycle processes including product discovery, planning, and launch.
- Work with customers to promote the product, understand customer needs, and drive adoption.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand, prioritize, and communicate needs to ensure a full understanding of roadmap themes and requirements.
- Work with Engineering leaders to direct high-performance teams and ensure the success of product delivery.
- Work closely with product marketing to define and implement a Go-To-Market strategy
- Other duties include scheduling and leading portfolio meetings to identify and prioritize product issues, manage product roadmaps, and complete daily tasks to meet project deadlines.
### Requirements
- 5+ years of related product management experience at a technology company.
- Experience interpreting customer’s business needs and translating them into application requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong understanding of technical designs, architecture, and technical specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Team player: the ability to interface and build relationships at all levels (vertically and horizontally across functions).
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Agile & Scrum process experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
