Role summary

Tessy Plastics, a global leader in injection molding and custom automated assembly solutions, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer for its Skaneateles, NY facility. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. Key duties include developing QA processes, analyzing production data, leading root cause investigations, supporting validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or technical environment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (FDA/GMP preferred).

We’re looking for a
Quality Assurance Engineer
to join our team. In this role, you’ll ensure product quality and compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

\*What You’ll Do-

Ensure product quality and compliance with internal standards and customer requirements

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures

Analyze production data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement

Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to resolve quality issues

Support validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ, as required

Conduct audits (internal and external) and ensure readiness for regulatory inspections

Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies

\*What You Bring-

Experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing or technical environment

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Knowledge of quality systems, standards, and regulatory requirements (FDA/GMP preferred)

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Quality, or related field)

Experience in injection molding, automation, or regulated industries preferred

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, on-site environment in Skaneateles, NY

Technical background with ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications preferred

Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis in a manufacturing setting (SPC, trend analysis, root cause analysis) preferred

\*Compensation & Benefits-

Salary Range: $72,000–$95,000 (commensurate with experience)
