Job Summary

The Operations Specialist at The Bridal Collection is the behind-the-scenes engine that ensures our luxury retail environment runs with precision. This role requires a unique blend of meticulous detail management, technical proficiency, and physical stamina. You will be responsible for the seamless intake of high-end inventory, maintaining the integrity of our digital systems, and managing the physical logistics of gowns and store supplies. The ideal candidate finds satisfaction in "getting it right the first time" and thrives in an environment where organization and efficiency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Quality Control

• Meticulous Intake: Unbox, inspect, and tag incoming designer gowns and accessories, ensuring every item meets our high-quality-control standards.
• Detail-Oriented Auditing: Maintain 100% accuracy in inventory counts and status updates within our Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management software.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies between shipping manifests and received goods immediately.

Technical Support & Logistics

• System Mastery: Serve as the go-to person for store technology, including POS troubleshooting, digital document management, and communication tools.
• Process Improvement: Suggest and implement digital workflows to reduce manual errors and improve store-wide communication.
• Digital Record Keeping: Ensure all client contracts and vendor invoices are entered, scanned, filed, and attributed correctly in the database.

Physical Operations

• Heavy Lifting: Manually transport large shipments, move heavy bridal gown racks, and organize storage areas (must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly).
• Facility Readiness: Assist in the physical setup of the showroom for special events, trunk shows, and seasonal floor changes.
• Supplies Management: Monitor and restock essential store supplies, ensuring the team has what they need to provide a 5-star experience.

Tech Savvy

Advanced comfort with Google Workspace, POS systems, and general hardware troubleshooting.

Ability to stand/walk for long periods and safely lift heavy boxes and bulky garment bags.

Reliability

A consistent "doer" who takes ownership of tasks from start to finish without constant supervision.

Communication

Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills to keep the sales and leadership teams informed.
