Network Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer with deep, hands‑on experience designing and implementing enterprise‑scale network solutions across Cisco ACI and AWS environments. This is a senior, delivery‑focused role, not an operations‑only or monitoring position.

*This is an over-night position (9pm-5am)*

*6+ month contract*

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement enterprise network solutions across data center, cloud, and WAN environments
• Lead hands‑on Cisco ACI fabric design and deployment, including policy, integration, and migration activities
• Design and implement AWS networking solutions, including VPC architecture, routing, connectivity, and hybrid integrations
• Support LAN/WAN networking at enterprise scale
• Implement and support network automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar
• Collaborate with network and security teams on firewall implementations and secure connectivity design
• Participate in end‑to‑end project delivery (design → build → testing → close)
• Clearly document and communicate network designs and technical decisions
• Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers early and work proactively to resolve them
• Perform regular BAU network changes while maintaining high reliability standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7–10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
• Proven experience designing AND implementing network solutions (not support/monitoring only)
• Hands‑on Cisco ACI implementation experience (required)
• Hands‑on AWS networking experience (VPCs, routing, connectivity, hybrid environments)
• Strong enterprise LAN/WAN networking experience
• Experience with network automation tools or scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Python, etc.)
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols (routing, switching, connectivity)
• Hands‑on experience with network firewalls, including implementation and operational support

Pay rate: 80-90/hr W2
