Role summary
The VP of Product is responsible for defining and executing the company's overall product strategy and roadmap. This leadership role involves guiding the product team through design, iteration, and launch, ensuring products align with user needs and business objectives. Job Overview
The VP of Product is responsible for developing the company's overall product strategy and roadmap, leading the product team to drive product design and iteration, and ensuring that products meet user needs and achieve business goals. This position requires deep collaboration with the technology, marketing, operations, and sales teams to drive product growth from concept to scale.
III. Main Responsibilities
Develop the company's overall product strategy and medium-to-long-term product development plan.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the product roadmap.
Lead the product team in requirements analysis, product design, and feature planning.
Conduct in-depth research on user needs, industry trends, and competing products, and propose innovative solutions.
Collaborate with the technology team to drive product development and version iteration.
Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to drive product launch and promotion.
Responsible for product commercialization strategy (pricing, monetization model, growth model).
Analyze product data (user behavior, conversion rate, retention rate, etc.) and continuously optimize the product experience.
Establish product management processes and standards to improve development efficiency and product quality.
Manage the product lifecycle (from planning to retirement). Lead the product team, develop team capabilities, and optimize organizational structure.
Report product performance and strategic progress to senior management.
IV. Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, Design, or a related field.
Over 20 years of experience in product management or the internet/technology industry.
At least 15 years of team management experience.
Excellent product strategic thinking and business acumen.
Familiar with product development processes and Agile development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
Data analysis and user insight capabilities.
Strong cross-departmental communication and project management skills.
Experience in successfully building a product from scratch or scaling it out is preferred.
