Senior QA Engineer

Location: Boca Raton/San Diego/Las Vegas (Onsite / Hybrid)

Salary: $110K Base

Duration: Full-Time

About the Role

Client is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on
Senior QA Engineer
with strong expertise in
test automation and development testing
. This role serves as a critical bridge between Development and Quality Assurance, ensuring high-quality product releases across multiple platforms including
iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac
.

This is not a routine QA position. You will have significant influence on engineering practices, help define quality standards, mentor team members, and design scalable automated testing frameworks that support rapid and reliable product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
  • Build and execute automated test suites for web, mobile (iOS & Android), and desktop (Windows & Mac) platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to ensure testability and quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews to incorporate testing strategies early.
  • Lead CI/CD test integration and ensure seamless automated regression cycles.
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and implement advanced testing solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide actionable insights to improve product stability.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and quality engineering.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Ensure flawless product releases with comprehensive validation and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering with strong focus on test automation.
  • Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Experience testing across multiple platforms: iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Experience with API testing and performance testing.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
