I. Position Overview

The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for building the strategic partnership framework and managing key relationships across global and priority markets. By establishing a high-value ecosystem of partnerships, the role drives business growth, market expansion, and synergy in technology and resources. This position focuses on serving as an "external growth engine" and reports directly to the CEO or COO. II. Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership System Planning

Formulate the overall strategy for corporate strategic and ecosystem partnerships

Define partnership priorities (industry partners, channel partners, technology partners, etc.)

Build a long-term, sustainable partnership ecosystem

  • Key Strategic Partner Development and Management

Identify and onboard key global/regional strategic partners

Establish C-level partnership relationships

Maintain and deepen long-term strategic partnerships

  • Business Partnership Model Design

Design joint business models (joint sales, channel revenue sharing, technology licensing, etc.)

Drive the commercial implementation of partnership projects

Optimize revenue structures and value distribution mechanisms for partnerships

  • Revenue Growth and Business Synergy

Drive corporate revenue growth through strategic partnerships

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to advance joint projects

Evaluate the ROI and business contribution of partnership projects

  • Ecosystem Development

Build industry ecosystem networks and partnership alliances

Drive multi-party partnership projects (platform-based and ecosystem-oriented collaborations)

Enhance the company's industry influence and voice

  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Project Execution

Coordinate with legal, finance, product, and sales teams to implement partnerships

Manage the execution progress and risks of complex partnership projects

Ensure partnership projects deliver commercial value on schedule

  • Partnership Risk and Compliance Management

Assess commercial and compliance risks in strategic partnerships

Manage contract negotiations and the structuring of key terms

Ensure partnerships comply with international and regional regulatory requirements

III. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Business Management, International Trade, Engineering, or related fields preferred

20+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development (BD), or related areas, including 15+ years in senior executive roles

Experience with multinational corporations or complex ecosystem partnerships preferred

Proven C-level business negotiation capabilities

Familiarity with B2B or platform-based business models preferred

Strong business acumen and resource integration capabilities

Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
