Job Summary

An entry-level Automation Engineer supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role focuses on ensuring reliable, compliant, and efficient operation of control systems in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support PLC, SCADA, and DCS system configuration and troubleshooting.

Assist in installation, commissioning, and system upgrades.

Support CSV and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) with GMP compliance.

Prepare FS, DS, SOPs, and maintain system documentation.

Diagnose automation issues and minimize downtime.

Ensure data integrity (ALCOA+) and monitor system performance.

Collaborate with Production, QA, IT, and Engineering; support tech transfer.

Skills

Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA/DCS systems
Understanding of GMP and regulated environments
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Good documentation and communication skills

Preferred

Internship/project experience in industrial automation
Exposure to pharma systems and validation practices
Familiarity with tools like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms
