Position Overview
- Support large scale automation projects in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Work on upgrading legacy systems and implementing Rockwell FactoryTalk platforms
- Hands on role focused on PLC programming, controls engineering, and system deployment
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE
- Support migration from legacy systems to Rockwell platforms
- Perform hands on programming using Allen Bradley PLCs
- Develop and modify code using Structured Text programming
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize automation and control systems
- Support PlantPAx systems where applicable
- Assist in rollout across multiple manufacturing suites
- Create and update functional requirement specifications and design documents
- Write and manage change controls and perform impact assessments
- Investigate deviations and perform root cause analysis
- Support and own CAPA activities when required
- Ensure compliance with GMP and cGMP regulations
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Rockwell Automation
- Hands on experience with FactoryTalk View SE
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming
- Strong experience in Structured Text programming preferred
- Experience with PlantPAx is a plus
- Strong background in automation and controls engineering
- Hands on troubleshooting and system support experience
- Experience with coding and modifying automation systems
Industry Experience
- 8 to 10 plus years of automation engineering experience
- 5 plus years in pharmaceutical or biotech cGMP environments
- Experience with GMP documentation including change control, deviations, and CAPA
Nice to Have
- Experience with legacy system upgrades
- Experience in multi site or multi suite deployments
- Strong documentation and compliance experience
Important Notes
- FactoryTalk experience is mandatory
- This is a fully onsite role
- Must be comfortable in a hands on engineering role
