Role summary
Vanamonde is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their founding team and help build a novel computation system combining on-chain infrastructure with AI. This early-stage, remote role involves designing and implementing core system modules like SIAS and CSTG, focusing on composable on-chain interactions and data sovereignty. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack experience (React, Node.js, TypeScript), expertise in blockchain integration, and an understanding of composable on-chain systems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a computation-focused startup before Seed funding, with potential for significant equity.

Please Note
This position is currently a soft offer until the company secures Seed funding. It offers the opportunity to join a highly capable founding team and help build the system from the ground up. Upon securing funding, founding members will transition to competitive compensation and meaningful equity. This phase precedes early closed testing and Seed-stage operations.
Participation in weekly Scrum sessions is optional. Candidates may choose to attend to stay aligned with progress and understand current technical challenges.
About Vanamonde
We are a computation-focused startup building a new computation system that combines on-chain infrastructure with AI-driven execution.
At the core of our work is SIAS (Semantic Interaction Asset System) and CSTG (Composable State Transition Graph), designed to support assets that can carry structured behavior and state transitions across applications. We are building a non-game autonomous world focused on general-purpose on-chain interactions rather than game loops or entertainment-only systems.
The system is currently in early system v1.0, and we are actively iterating toward early system v1.5. Data sovereignty has been designed as a core system principle from the start.
Vanamonde is currently bootstrapped and preparing for Seed financing, aiming to secure funding within 6–12 months while continuing system development and early community formation. The focus is on building foundational infrastructure for composable on-chain applications and user-owned computation.
Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join Vanamonde once we officially launch, helping us bring this system to life.
This is an early opportunity to join a computation-system-focused startup at its foundational stage. You will work on building AI and blockchain-native infrastructure, contributing directly to SIAS and CSTG-based architecture and the early system layer.
This is not a conventional engineering role. It is an opportunity to help define and implement the core system logic that enables composable asset-based interactions.

Your Responsibilities
Design and build scalable architecture for Vanamonde’s core system modules, including Genesis Diary and Accord, in close collaboration with the tech team. (Our founding team includes engineers with experience in blockchain protocol development and security engineering, with backgrounds spanning enterprise systems and regulated environments.)
- Design system-level logic for persistent, composable state interactions across modules and services
- Develop APIs, services, and data pipelines that interact with blockchain components and CSTG-based state systems
- Translate system-level composable logic into structured user-facing interactions and workflows
- Build front-end applications and interfaces for narrative-driven asset interactions grounded in system state
- Define engineering standards for code quality, testing, and reliability across the system stack
- Participate in the evolution of system architecture from early system v1.0 toward v1.5 iteration stage
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Ability to design system-level architectures involving state, data flow, and modular components
- Strong full-stack experience (React / Node.js / TypeScript), with ability to work across backend and frontend
- Experience integrating with blockchain or distributed systems
- Understanding of composable on-chain systems (e.g., NFTs or asset-based interactions with structured behavior)
- Comfort working in early-stage environments with evolving system definitions and incomplete specifications
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Ethereum smart contracts, L2s, or on-chain indexing systems
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures or backend workflow systems
- Exposure to systems involving persistent or structured state (e.g. queues, pipelines, stateful services)
- Basic experience integrating AI models into product or backend workflows
- Interest or prior exploration in composable digital systems or experimental on-chain applications
Compensation & Benefits
(Salary will begin after we secure funding — not at this stage.)
Equity: 0.3%–1% ESOP
Remote work + PTO and holidays
Once Seed funding is secured, soft offer members will transition to full-time employment with equity and competitive compensation applied.
