Role summary
Vanamonde, an On-Chain x AI startup building Autonomous Worlds, seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join its founding team. This early-stage, remote role involves designing and building scalable blockchain and AI applications, including APIs, data pipelines, and front-end interfaces for NFT experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript, alongside expertise in Web3 integration, NFT concepts, and system design. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a revolutionary Web3 project from its inception, with competitive compensation and equity offered upon securing Seed funding.

Please Note
This position is currently a soft offer until the company secures Seed funding. It offers the opportunity to join a highly capable founding team and help build the Autonomous World from the ground up. Upon securing funding, founding members will transition to competitive compensation and meaningful equity. This phase precedes MVP closed testing and early Seed.
Participation in weekly Scrum sessions is optional. Candidates may choose to attend to stay aligned with progress and understand current technical challenges.
About Vanamonde
We are an On-Chain × AI startup dedicated to building Autonomous Worlds, integrating AI with digital assets to create new forms of on-chain user interaction. MVP 1.0 of SIAS has been completed. Currently, we are bootstrapped and preparing for Seed financing, aiming to secure funding within 6–12 months while building a vibrant community and gaining traction. Vanamonde focuses on innovation in on-chain consumer applications, shaping the next generation of composable applications.
Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join Vanamonde once we officially launch, helping us bring our vision to life. This is a rare opportunity to join an Autonomous World startup at an early stage. You will develop innovative AI and blockchain applications, creating real user-driven demand alongside the founding team. This is not a traditional engineering role; it is an opportunity to help build SIAS (Semantic Interaction Assets System) and the foundational framework for a non-gaming Autonomous World from scratch.

Your Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable architecture for Vanamonde's Genesis Diary and Accord, in close collaboration with the tech team. (Our founding team includes experts from big tech, leading blockchain protocols, EY, and Booz Allen.)
- Develop APIs, services, and data pipelines that interact with blockchain components
- Build front-end applications and user interfaces for narrative-driven NFT experiences
- Translate designed composable mechanisms into intuitive user experiences
- Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, and system reliability
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Strong full-stack experience (React/Node.js/TypeScript).
- Experience integrating with blockchain or Web3 systems.
- Understanding of NFT concepts and composable on-chain interactions.
- Ability to design high-performance, scalable, composable systems.
- Comfort experimenting with emerging technologies in an early-stage, high-risk environment.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Ethereum-compatible APIs or smart contract libraries.
- Familiarity with Autonomous Worlds or similar L2 ecosystems.
- Basic AI/ML integration knowledge.
Compensation & Benefits (Salary will begin after we secure funding — not at this stage.)
- Equity: 0.3%–1% ESOP

- Once Seed funding is secured, soft offer members will transition to full-time employment with equity and competitive compensation retroactively applied.
