Role summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join an Agile team focused on building healthcare applications. The role involves implementing new features while adhering to high coding standards. Responsibilities include writing automated test code, utilizing UI and API testing tools (e.g., Cypress, soapUI, Rest Assured), and conducting performance testing (e.g., JMeter, K6). Proficiency in object-oriented and scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript), database experience (Oracle, MySQL), Agile methodologies, and DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins) for CI/CD pipelines is essential. An engineering degree is required.

Responsibilities: -

  • 3-5 years of professional experience working in a software development environment.
  • Ability to write automated test code and tools.
  • Expert in both UI test automation tools (Cypress or similar) and API testing (using soapUI, Rest Assured, or similar).
  • Experience with performance testing (using JMeter, K6 or similar).
  • Experience using a broad range of test automation
  • frameworks (e.g. Cucumber, RSpec, FitNesse, TestNG or similar).
  • Proficiency with Object Oriented languages (Java, C#, C++ or similar).
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby or similar).
  • Working with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL or similar).
  • Familiarity with SDLC practices of Agile (Lean, Scrum, XP or similar).
  • Experience working with DevOps tools like Ansible, Jenkins and practices
  • like continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Educational Qualifications: -

  • Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.

Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
