Role summary

VenHub is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to build and secure its autonomous, AI-powered Smart Store infrastructure. This role involves owning access, systems security, and resilience. Responsibilities include securing cloud and internal infrastructure, building hardened Linux environments, implementing identity-based access, designing zero-trust networks, monitoring threats, establishing incident response, and building disaster recovery systems. The ideal candidate has strong security and infrastructure experience, deep understanding of IAM, networking, and system hardening, and is comfortable in cloud environments like AWS. A builder mindset is essential for owning systems end-to-end.

Job Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to build and secure our infrastructure from the ground up. You’ll own access, systems security, and resilience across the company.

\*In-Person Position

Duties

  • Secure cloud and internal infrastructure
  • Build hardened Linux environments and secure remote access
  • Implement identity-based access (no static keys)
  • Design zero-trust networking (Tailscale or similar)
  • Monitor threats, vulnerabilities, and system activity
  • Establish logging, alerting, and incident response
  • Lead cybersecurity best practices across the org
  • Build disaster recovery + backup systems and test them

Qualifications

  • Strong security + infrastructure experience
  • Deep understanding of IAM, networking, and system hardening
  • Comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS or similar)
  • Experience with zero trust and modern access controls
  • Builder mindset — you like owning systems end-to-end

Bonus

  • VDI / WorkSpaces experience
  • SOC 2 or compliance exposure
  • Experience with Tailscale or similar tools

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
