Position: Cyber Incident Response Engineer

Location: Alhambra, CA (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $50-65/hr (W2)

Duration: 12 months

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a skilled
Security Engineer
to secure complex technology environments and help bridge legacy systems with modern security practices.

What You’ll Do:

Conduct security audits, vulnerability testing, and code reviews
Develop solutions to mitigate security risks
Research emerging threats and advise teams on secure system design
Collaborate across development and operations teams to ensure system privacy and protection

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience:
10+ years in security engineering
- Tech & Tools:
Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Palo Alto Firewall, Zscaler, SIEM, KQL, MCP, LLM tools (Codex, Claude, or similar)
- Skills:
Security architecture, networking, encryption, incident response, risk management, compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
- Systems:
Windows, Unix, Mac; SQL, Azure, Oracle

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor’s in IT/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
CISSP & ITIL Foundation
