### Product Manager

Company: Wesley International LLC

Reports To: CEO

Location: Clarkston, Georgia (On-site/Hybrid)

### Job Summary

The Product Manager is the strategic lead and "CEO" of our core product lines, including Pack Mule and Pallet Mule. This role acts as the critical bridge between the market, engineering, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for ensuring that our "Made in the USA" industrial vehicles and material handling equipment remain the gold standard in the industry while driving profitable growth.

You will spend as much time in the field with customers as you do in the office, translating real-world warehouse challenges into technical requirements and high-value product solutions.

### Core Responsibilities

#### 1. Market Strategy & Voice of the Customer (VOC)

  • Conduct regular field visits to warehouses and distribution centers to observe equipment usage and identify unmet needs.
  • Define and articulate the "Value Proposition" for premium, American-made equipment against lower-cost global competitors.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor movements, and emerging technologies (e.g., battery tech, automation) to guide the product roadmap.

#### 2. Product Lifecycle & Roadmap Management

  • Own the multi-year product roadmap, prioritizing engineering projects based on ROI, market demand, and production capacity.
  • Lead "New Product Introduction" (NPI) processes from initial concept and prototyping through to full-scale production and market launch.
  • Manage the rationalization of legacy products to ensure the catalog remains lean and profitable.

#### 3. Pricing & Profitability

  • Partner with Operations and Finance to monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and ensure healthy gross margins.
  • Develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies that reflect the premium quality and reliability of the brand.
  • Utilize ERP data (NetSuite) to identify high-volume vs. high-distraction models and drive data-backed production decisions.

#### 4. Sales & Marketing Enablement

  • Translate complex technical specifications into clear, benefit-driven sales tools, ROI calculators, and case studies.
  • Train the sales team and dealer network (including Warehouse Sales and Services) on product features and competitive advantages.
  • Support marketing in the creation of high-impact collateral and digital content.

### Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in product management, ideally within an industrial manufacturing, material handling, or B2B capital equipment environment.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to collaborate effectively with mechanical and electrical engineers; comfortable reading CAD drawings and understanding fabrication constraints.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of P&L management, margin analysis, and the logistics of a $15M+ manufacturing operation.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with modern business stacks, specifically NetSuite ERP, HubSpot CRM, and project management tools.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus but not required.
  • Mindset: A "high-ownership" generalist who is equally comfortable in a boardroom presentation as they are on a greasy shop floor or a busy loading dock.

### Why This Role?

This is a high-visibility position with a direct impact on the trajectory of the company. At our current scale, your decisions regarding product design, pricing, and market positioning will be the primary drivers of our next phase of growth.
