Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. SFCC Backend Engineer with strong experience in
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC). The role involves backend development,
integrations, and performance optimization to support scalable eCommerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and maintain SFCC backend functionalities
· Work with SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) for backend services
· Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems (payments, OMS, APIs)
· Optimize backend performance using caching and best practices
· Troubleshoot and resolve production and performance issues
· Ensure adherence to security and coding standards
· Participate in code reviews and support development best practices
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, and QA)
Required Skills & Experience
· 8–12+ years of experience in backend development
· Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SFCC development
· Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
· Experience with SFCC components:
o Business Manager
o Jobs, Pipelines, Controllers
· Experience with OCAPI / Commerce APIs and integrations
· Understanding of microservices and cloud-based architectures
· Experience with version control (Git, Bitbucket)
· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
