Role summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA / Test Engineer for a fully remote, full-time position. The role involves ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing, defect identification, and collaboration with development teams. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, validating APIs and UIs, and improving QA processes. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in QA, a strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, and proficiency with automation tools, API testing tools, bug tracking systems, and scripting languages.

🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven
QA / Test Engineer
to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and usability. In this fully remote role, you’ll play a key part in validating features, identifying defects, and improving overall product quality.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver stable and high-performing software.

🎯 What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute manual and automated test cases
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  • Identify, document, and track software defects
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts
  • Validate APIs, UI components, and backend systems
  • Participate in sprint planning and requirement reviews
  • Improve QA processes and testing coverage

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in QA or software testing roles
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
  • Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and quality mindset
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

🌟 Nice to Have

  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, etc.)
  • Experience testing microservices or distributed systems
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android)
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
