Role summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design and implement scalable automated testing solutions. This fully remote role focuses on enhancing software quality, speeding up releases, and ensuring system reliability. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps engineers to integrate testing into the development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include developing test frameworks, writing test scripts for web/mobile apps, integrating tests into CI/CD, performing various types of testing (API, functional, regression, integration), defect tracking, and analyzing test results to provide insights and improve processes.

🚀 About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Automation Test Engineer
to design and implement scalable automated testing solutions. In this fully remote role, you’ll help improve software quality, accelerate release cycles, and ensure reliable system performance.
You’ll work closely with developers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
🎯 What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks
- Write and execute automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform API, functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage and code quality
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies
✅ What We’re Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in QA automation or software testing
- Strong experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
🌟 Nice to Have
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc.)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience testing microservices architectures
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to DevOps practices
- Experience in SaaS or high-scale applications
