Senior QA Engineer

### Description

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help us ship software we're proud of. You'll own quality across the full development lifecycle — from shaping test strategy early in the design phase through to post-release monitoring. You work best when you're close to the product and the people building it.

### Key Responsibilities

• Design a comprehensive test plans for features across the ZBD suite (Platform APIs, iOS, Android, Web), adapting to product evolution and customer feedback.
• Triage, communicate, and report bugs
• Build and own automated testing pipelines and quality gates for all ZBD products, with hands-on implementation initially.
• Drive quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle from design review through production deployment, ensuring feature quality at every stage.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to develop production-equivalent testing environments and integrate testing into CI/CD workflows.
• Partner with Engineering leads, Product Managers, and Business stakeholders to improve user flows, identify quality risks, and scale the product suite.

### Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• 5+ years of experience developing production digital products and including testing and monitoring, ideally in a quality assurance focused team.
• Experience automating end-to-end, integration, and UI tests for iOS, Android, and Web Apps.
• Experience with static analysis push and unit test coverage push.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
• Experience with API tools including Postman, Newman, or Swagger.
• Familiarity with consumer centric app testing.
• Experience with API load testing and tooling such as K6
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CI/CD and APM tools.
• Experience with automated test tools such as Testing Library, Selenium, BrowserStack or Cypress
• Self-drive to improve the ZBD product experience above and beyond.

• Knowledge of, and experience working with Bitcoin and Lightning Network software.
• Experience building automated systems for improving team-wide performance and development velocity.
• Strong Product Mindset, the ability to anticipate what to expect from the user's perspective
