Zivi Labs is a technology firm that helps PE-backed companies modernize their software development lifecycle with AI. We deploy AI coding agents, workflows, and measurement systems across R&D organizations, working directly with portfolio companies of top-tier PE firms. Our engagements are hands-on: we embed with engineering teams, deploy tooling, and coach developers to adopt AI-assisted development practices.

The Role

You will be the technical backbone of our client delivery team, responsible for deploying AI coding agents, building context layers, integrating AI into CI/CD pipelines, and coaching engineering teams on AI-assisted development workflows. You will work across multiple product teams simultaneously.

This is not a research role. You will ship production configurations, deploy tooling, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with client engineers to transform how they build software.

What You Will Do

•       Deploy and configure AI coding agents across multiple product teams within client organizations, tailoring agent behavior to each team’s codebase and domain

•       Build and maintain AI context layers that enable agents to generate high-quality, context-aware code

•       Integrate AI tooling into existing CI/CD pipelines, including AI-assisted code review and automated test generation

•       Set up developer experience telemetry and KPI dashboards to measure adoption, throughput, and quality impact

•       Lead hands-on training and embedded coaching with client engineering teams to drive adoption of AI-assisted workflows

•       Iterate on configurations based on real usage data, resolving friction points and optimizing agent output quality

•       Document configurations, playbooks, and best practices to ensure client sustainability post-engagement

What We Are Looking ForRequired

•       5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments

•       Deep hands-on experience with AI coding tools: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent, not just as a user but configuring and optimizing them for teams

•       Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and ability to integrate AI tooling into existing pipelines

•       Experience with prompt engineering and building context layers for AI agents (system prompts, codebase indexing, documentation structuring)

•       Comfortable working with multiple tech stacks

•       Ability to teach and coach: you will spend significant time working directly with client engineers who range from skeptical to enthusiastic about AI

•       Excellent communication skills and a self-starter for problem solving

•       Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced client delivery

Preferred

•       Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery roles

•       Familiarity with DORA metrics, developer experience measurement, and engineering productivity frameworks

•       Background in code analysis, static analysis tooling, or developer tooling

•       Experience with PE-backed or enterprise software companies
