Senior Test Engineer

### Who you are
- BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent technical degree
- 8+ years of industry experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of manufacturing and testing electronic assemblies
- Experience in testing of complex electronic assemblies, such as server-grade computers and sub-assemblies
- Experience with manufacturing tests of PCIe devices such as GPUs, network cards, and NVMe drives
- Strong knowledge of Python and shell (bash) scripting
- Experience with the Linux platform - debugging failures using command line tools
- MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or equivalent technical degree
- Knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN and hardware interfaces
- Experience with high-speed links such as GMSL
- Strong expertise in PCIe troubleshooting - especially with GPUs and similar electronic assemblies

### What the job involves
- Zoox is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to design and develop test solutions for the compute platform powering our autonomous vehicles
- In this role, you will create and implement tests for key components of our compute system, including server-grade computer assemblies, custom PCIe devices, and PC components such as storage and memory
- You’ll collaborate closely with our electrical engineering and software teams to develop and validate new products and technologies
- We’re looking for an engineer who is curious, enthusiastic, and eager to explore new technologies. The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet critical deadlines is highly valued
- Build and release test solutions for use on the manufacturing lines at Zoox and at contract manufacturing partners
- Develop testing scripts and code to verify functionality, control test instruments, capture test parameters, and analyze results for continuous improvement
- Work cross-functionally to implement the correct test coverage across all phases of manufacturing (PCBA, module, system, vehicle)
- Release updated test programs for new generations of hardware and software
- Support the test and validation of prototype designs
- Establish best practices and drive continuous improvement for improving test deployment, test runtime, and yield
