Role summary

3 Day Blinds is seeking a Sales Trainee (Design Consultant) to meet clients in their homes, help them design custom window treatments, and close sales in a single visit. This role offers company-provided appointments, four weeks of paid training, and uncapped earning potential. The ideal candidate is a motivated, people-oriented individual comfortable working independently in the field and managing their own schedule. Prior sales or design experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided. This is a full-time, onsite position with a focus on in-home sales and client relationship management.

What You’ll Do

Meet with clients in their homes to understand their needs and recommend the right custom window treatments for every space

Create simple, beautiful design solutions tailored to each client's style and budget

Guide clients through the buying process and confidently close sales in the home

Manage your own schedule, appointments, and follow-ups

Build additional business through referrals and local networking

Deliver an exceptional experience from first visit to final installation

Who you are

A natural people person who enjoys building relationships and helping others make decisions they feel great about

Motivated by performance and excited by uncapped earning potential

Confident, coachable, and comfortable working independently in the field

Organized and able to manage multiple appointments across the week

Flexible to work at least one weekend day

Reliable transportation and comfortable traveling locally — your territory is your office

Backgrounds that do well here include sales, hospitality, customer service, retail, and other fast-paced client-facing roles. No prior design experience required — we'll train you.
