Role summary

3500 Square, LLC is seeking a temporary Web Developer for a 6-month contract. The role requires U.S. citizenship and involves building modern web solutions using React.js and Node.js, with a strong preference for Strapi API experience. Responsibilities include developing responsive interfaces, designing scalable backend services, integrating APIs, collaborating with teams, documenting technical processes, and optimizing performance and security. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of RESTful patterns and JavaScript/Node development, and experience in agile environments. Preferred skills include Next.js, Express, GraphQL, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.

Web Developer (React/Node & Strapi APIs) – 3500 Square, LLC

Temporary- 6 months

3500 Square, LLC is seeking a motivated and results-driven Web Developer with proven experience building modern web solutions using React.js and Node.js. Familiarity or hands-on experience with Strapi APIs is highly valued. The ideal candidate demonstrates a passion for delivering scalable, high-quality products and excels in collaborative, innovative environments that serve the federal and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop responsive, dynamic web interfaces using React.js in line with best practices for usability and accessibility.
  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services leveraging Node.js to ensure secure, robust, and scalable architecture.
  • Integrate and consume Strapi APIs (or similar headless APIs) for content management and customized web functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, stakeholders) to deliver comprehensive and effective solutions.
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and architectural decisions for internal and client-facing audiences.
  • Optimize application performance and security through agile methodologies and industry standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated professional experience developing with React.js and Node.js.
  • Practical knowledge or experience integrating with Strapi APIs or similar headless API solutions.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful patterns, data management, and service-oriented JavaScript/Node development.
  • Proven ability to work in agile, multidisciplinary environments.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with additional frameworks or tools such as Next.js, Express, or GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD deployment pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), or DevOps practices.
  • Experience working on federal, regulated, or large-scale enterprise technology projects.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, modular architecture, and automated testing.
