Role summary

This role is for an experienced Sales Program Manager in Cupertino, focusing on building customer relationships and driving product development from concept to mass production. The manager will collaborate with engineering and management teams in China, oversee project schedules, manage commercial aspects, and ensure smooth product launches. Key responsibilities include increasing revenue, securing technology partnerships, and acting as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quotes, purchase orders, and invoices. The role requires strong program management, supply chain, and customer relationship skills, with direct experience in consumer electronics and a Bachelor's degree in engineering. International travel to China is expected.

We are looking for an experienced sales program manager to join our talented and growing team in Cupertino. This person will build strong customer relationships through dedicated customer service and product development. They will become the voice of our customers and work closely with our engineering and management teams in China to bring new products from design concept to mass production.

Responsibilities:

- Work with our China program managers to increase revenue and strengthen relationships with key accounts.
- Secure
high share and establish intimate
technology
partnerships.
- Oversee and track build schedules from the customers and communicate with the factory to ensure all projects are on time and within budget.
- Coordinate resources as required to complete projects.
- Be the main point of contact for all commercial topics such as quotes, purchase orders, invoices, etc.
- Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product launches.
- Work closely with customers’ global supply team for price and delivery considerations.
- Be available as needed to assist customers and colleagues even outside of normal business hours.
- Take ownership to see project success, even without direct or ultimate authority.
- Travel internationally (primarily to China) to assist with customer visits.
- Become a trusted advisor for customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (business degree/MBA is a plus)
  • Total work experience: 5+ years.
  • Direct work experience in consumer electronics: 2+ years.
  • Program Management experience: 2+ years.
  • Ability to understand complex mechanical assemblies.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills with the ability to take longhand and shorthand notes during meetings.
  • Computer literate, especially with Mac OS and Excel.
  • Very well organized, both in the digital world and the real world.
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing. Comfortable in communicating with all levels of employees and management.
  • Cunning communication skills to understand how to craft and deliver your message to get the best desirable outcome.
  • Curious, relaxed, and competent to engage in frequent, high value, negotiations.
  • [Desired] Mandarin speaking and/or experience traveling in China.
  • [Desired] Experience working with factories in China.
