Role summary
The Senior Director, Global Enablement will lead the function responsible for preparing Abnormal's sales, engineering, customer success, and channel partners for success in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. This role reports to the VP of GTM Operations and will oversee a global team focused on field, technical, onboarding, certifications, and partner enablement. The primary objective is to position enablement as a core growth driver, directly supporting the company's transition to a multi-product Behavioral AI platform. Key responsibilities include designing and scaling role-based programs, certifications, and onboarding, building an AI-first enablement engine, managing product launch readiness, and measuring enablement's impact on key business outcomes like pipeline and revenue. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in B2B SaaS enablement, a proven track record of leading global teams, and demonstrated success in applying AI to enhance learning and performance.
About the Role
Our products move fast. Our field has to move faster.
As Senior Director, Global Enablement, you'll lead the function that gets every Abnormal seller, engineer, customer success leader, and channel partner ready to win, and keeps them ready as our platform grows. Reporting to Ted Noble, VP of GTM Operations, you'll lead a team of enablement directors, managers, and their teams across field enablement, technical enablement, onboarding, certifications, and partner enablement. You'll own the programs people remember, from our in-person onboarding bootcamps to field enablement events, and you'll build the system behind them: an AI-first, just-in-time enablement engine with feedback loops that turn what's happening in the field into what we teach next. This is a role for someone who wants to help make Abnormal the #1 AI-native company and who cares about helping people get better at their craft.
Enablement is a core growth driver at Abnormal. We're growing quickly, protecting more than 5,000 customers including 30% of the Fortune 500, and our next chapter is the transition from email security to the Abnormal Behavioral AI platform, with multiple products across email, identity, and AI security. That shift only turns into growth if every seller, engineer, and partner can tell the platform story, sell multiple products into the same account, and support customers as they expand. We're also launching new products faster than traditional, quarterly training cycles can keep up with. You'll make enablement the engine that turns our platform strategy into pipeline, multi-product deals, and expansion.
