About Us
We are fixing US healthcare by building an AI-native physical care platform, starting with home health.
Home health is a $140B industry with less than $10B in EBITDA — 40% of revenue is spent on pure administrative waste. We automate this work with AI, creating a fundamentally different cost structure compared to incumbents. This lets us rapidly take market share by serving the 30% of patients who go untreated today.
By reshaping the cost structure of this industry, we unlock its growth.
We've built one of the best AI teams in the world (from Character AI, Scale, Palantir, Citadel, Jane Street) and paired them with a team of healthcare veterans to build a new type of healthcare company: one that delivers care at the speed of an AI company.
Our physical care platform already operates with 30pp higher gross margins than traditional home health providers. With our AI advantage, we pay nurses more, remove their admin burden, and unlock the scale economics that have been missing from this fragmented industry. If we served this entire $140B market, instead of $10B in EBITDA, we'd drive $60B.
We're starting with home health, then expanding to all delivered care. Our mission is "any care, any where".
Fundamentally, our incentives are aligned with America. Every dollar in revenue we make is two dollars taken out of the healthcare system. If we succeed, so does US healthcare.
Role overview
We’re seeking a hands-on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager to lead and support a team of specialists in a home health environment. This manager will stay close to daily operations, monitor team performance, and respond quickly to questions and emerging issues to help the team meet its goals. The role focuses on accounts receivable (AR), helping the team move outstanding claims from follow-up to verified resolution.
What You’ll Do
Manage and support RCM specialists working across home health revenue cycle workflows.
Track attendance and monitor individual and team performance against established KPIs and daily quotas.
Review workflow boards throughout the day to spot backlogs, red flags, and specialists at risk of missing their end-of-day quotas.
Respond promptly to specialist questions while balancing real-time workflow monitoring and other team needs.
Identify process gaps and work with the team to resolve issues affecting daily performance.
Apply your home health and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) knowledge to help specialists navigate workflows and resolve operational questions.
Accounts receivable and collections
Guide specialists and team leads in prioritizing assigned commercial, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage receivables, including aged balances, payer responses, rejections, denials, and upcoming filing or appeal deadlines.
Oversee claim follow-up through resolution: verify claim status and payment, investigate collection barriers and underpayments, and guide appropriate corrections, reprocessing, reconsiderations, or appeals under payer-specific requirements.
Review and respond to escalations when a specialist cannot determine the next action; surface recurring payer, workflow, or system issues to leadership and coordinate their resolution.
Ensure claim activity, supporting evidence, next actions, and follow-up dates are documented accurately in the applicable AR workflow and HCHB.
Partner with billing, payment posting, prior authorization, clinical, and other teams to resolve discrepancies, obtain documentation, and follow paid-but-not-posted claims through resolution.
Review proposed write-offs for documented collection efforts and supporting evidence, and route them through the required approval and posting process.
Quality and team development
Review claim work for accurate denial interpretation, appropriate action, complete documentation, timely follow-up, and correct escalation; use findings to coach specialists and strengthen performance.
Support onboarding, payer and system cross-training, and regular knowledge sharing. Identify patterns behind collection challenges and update SOPs or workflows to prevent repeat issues.
Share frontline feedback on AR dashboards and automation with relevant teams to improve prioritization, visibility, and specialist workflows.
Basic Qualifications
Strong experience in home health revenue cycle operations.
Familiarity with Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
Experience managing RCM specialists, including tracking attendance and performance KPIs.
Experience monitoring workflows throughout the day and identifying risks to daily productivity targets.
Experience identifying collection challenges and implementing processes to resolve.
Working knowledge of AR follow-up, denial investigation, appeals or reprocessing, and payer-specific filing requirements.
Experience reviewing claim documentation and quality, escalating unresolved issues, and coordinating with billing or posting teams.
Ability to respond promptly to team questions while managing multiple priorities.
Ability to identify workflow or process gaps and help the team address them.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing distributed or offshore revenue cycle teams.
Familiarity with commercial fee-for-service and Medicare or Medicare Advantage home health claims, including episodic/PDGM workflows.
Experience with AR dashboards, clearinghouses, and payer portals such as Waystar and Availity.
Experience using denial trends, quality reviews, or operational data to improve collections workflows and team training.
