About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Web Developer to join Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), a vital subsidiary of The Boeing Company. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining web-based software solutions that support mission-critical intelligence applications. Your expertise will enable analysts and stakeholders within the Intelligence Community to visualize, organize, and share vital data seamlessly through intuitive web interfaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in front-end development, experience with modern web frameworks, and the ability to translate complex user requirements into scalable, high-performance applications. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with engineers, UX/UI designers, and mission stakeholders to deliver responsive, accessible, and secure web solutions that meet stringent security and performance standards. Your contributions will directly impact national security initiatives and enhance operational capabilities across various defense and intelligence programs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of education, experience, and technical expertise aligned with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, coupled with a minimum of eight (8) years of web development experience. Alternatively, four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience integrating web applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve software defects and optimize performance.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments, utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, including 508 compliance, to ensure web applications are usable by all users.

Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud environments (AWS), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), version control systems (Git), and data visualization tools. Experience supporting mission-focused applications within the Intelligence Community is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
As a Web Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and collaborative tasks:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based software solutions supporting critical intelligence missions.
  • Create user-friendly, accessible web interfaces that facilitate data visualization, organization, and sharing across the Intelligence Community.
  • Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, UX/UI designers, and mission stakeholders to develop scalable and responsive web applications.
  • Develop and maintain front-end components utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Integrate web applications with REST-based APIs and backend services to support data-driven functionalities.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing activities to uphold high-quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, enhancing application performance and stability.
  • Contribute to Agile practices through sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team collaboration.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to software design, implementation, and system maintenance.
