About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Solidity / Web Developer to join our dynamic team working on exciting projects within the gaming and metaverse space. This role involves developing smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain solutions that power our innovative gaming ecosystems and NFT platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain development, with experience in creating secure, efficient, and scalable smart contracts, as well as a solid understanding of Web3 technologies. As part of our team, you will contribute to building decentralized applications, tokenomics models, and blockchain integrations that enhance our digital products. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 18 hours per week, with flexible scheduling around team hours and your availability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of blockchain components into our projects, supporting our mission to deliver groundbreaking experiences in the metaverse and gaming industries.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in website and blockchain development or have a portfolio demonstrating relevant work. You should have experience developing customer-facing websites with engaging design and functionality, along with a solid understanding of SEO best practices. Proficiency in version control tools such as GitHub and deployment platforms like Vercel is essential. Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, API creation and hosting, and data manipulation tools such as Redux is required. You must have a strong knowledge of blockchain standards including ERC-721 and ERC-1155, and experience with Solidity, TypeScript, Python, Vue, Ethereum, Web3, and related frameworks like Truffle, GQL, Moralis, Web3js/Ethers.js. Knowledge of DAO, DeFi concepts, tokenomics, and blockchain development in GameFi or similar areas is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate strong coding skills, the ability to write maintainable and secure smart contracts, and excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts and decentralized applications that support our gaming and NFT platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain solutions into web and mobile applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with comments for maintainability. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. Design and implement secure tokenomics processes and blockchain standards compliant assets. Develop APIs and backend services to support blockchain interactions and data management. Contribute to the development of innovative features, prototypes, and proof-of-concept projects. Coordinate with designers, front-end developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences. Monitor and optimize blockchain performance and security, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues. Stay current with emerging blockchain trends, standards, and best practices, applying them to enhance our project offerings. Take ownership of significant portions of the development process, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications. Support documentation efforts and provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
