About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Analyst to join our dynamic team at Conviso Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats and vulnerabilities across our clients’ digital infrastructure. Your expertise will be pivotal in identifying potential risks, implementing proactive security measures, and ensuring the continuous protection of sensitive data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related area. Strong knowledge of security tools, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and vulnerability assessment tools is essential. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly are required. Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS is a plus.
Responsibilities
Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to ensure system integrity.
Respond promptly to security incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective measures.
Collaborate with IT teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Maintain and update security documentation, including incident reports and compliance records.
Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements.
Assist in the deployment and management of security tools and solutions.
Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal teams and clients.
Participate in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
