Role summary

AJ Tutoring is seeking passionate and energetic English and History Tutors to provide in-person tutoring services. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year college degree, a commitment to at least 15 tutoring hours per week, and availability during after-school hours, evenings, and weekends. Tutors will work through the end of the 2026/27 academic year. AJ Tutoring offers competitive hourly wages, paid training, ongoing support, and a flexible work environment. While a background in education is common, experience in coaching, youth leadership, camp counseling, mentoring, or performing arts is also valued. The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

    • English and History tutors must:

  • Have a 4 year college degree
  • Commit to a minimum of 15 tutoring hours per week with a few additional hours of administrative work
  • Tutor in person during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Work at AJ Tutoring through the end of the 2026/27 academic year
