Role summary

Seeking a Product Application Scientist with a PhD or MS in a life sciences field and 2+ years of experience in immunoassay development or technical support. This role requires expertise in immunoassay platforms (ELISA, bead-based, digital), troubleshooting complex workflows, and interpreting experimental data. The scientist will act as an internal expert, provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams, and support assay transfer activities. Strong scientific communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include designing and troubleshooting experiments, developing technical content, and coordinating method transfers.

At Alamar, we are passionate about enabling our customers to make scientific discoveries that translate into clinical outcomes and benefit patients. Our team is growing quickly as we develop innovative approaches to measure critical protein biomarkers from liquid samples that can enable the earliest possible detection of disease. We believe the next frontier in biology is enabled by measuring proteins at higher sensitivity in highly multiplexed assays at the push of a button, which is something only Alamar can do. As we build our team, we seek collaborative, driven, intellectually curious people committed to solving complex challenges. Our culture rewards accountability and cross functional teamwork because we believe this enables the kind of breakthrough thinking that will accelerate our mission.

We are seeking a highly motivated and scientifically driven Product Application Scientist to support custom assay development, assay transfer activities, and technical customer support for advanced immunoassay platforms. This role serves as a critical bridge between assay development, technical support, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful implementation and transfer of custom assays and workflows. The ideal candidate combines deep immunoassay expertise with strong communication, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive technical excellence across custom assay development projects and method transfers.
