- Stay current with evolving access control technologies, system integration trends, cybersecurity considerations, and relevant codes or industry standards to ensure best-in-class solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of access control systems (e.g., Andover Controls Continuum, Schneider Electric Access Expert, Mercury Security, Lenel, Genetec, HID, Avigilon, Honeywell, etc.)
- Strong understanding of security system architecture, access control hardware (personal and card access management, biometric verification, card readers, door strikes, controllers), and associated software platforms.
- Experience integrating access control with Building Management Systems (BMS), CCTV, and alarm systems.
- Proficiency in low-voltage electrical systems and structured cabling related to security technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, floor plans, and wiring schematics.
