Assembly Technician II, Amazon Leo OISL

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. Key job responsibilities
Follow work instructions and safety procedures
Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds
Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables
Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Basic Qualifications: - 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
- 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
- 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
- Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Space Vehicle/Satellite Operations, Space Communications or related industry
- Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license • CFOT certification or equivalent experience
- Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience
- ASE certification or equivalent experience
- Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- Experience working with Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, Fiber Optics/Optical and/or Harness Integration
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
