Role summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time, onsite Occupational Therapist in Monroe, MI, to provide therapy services for students aged 3-26 and K-12. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing IFSPs/IEPs, implementing interventions for fine motor and sensory needs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining documentation. Previous experience with children or in a school setting is preferred. The role covers two FMLA leaves and offers competitive hourly pay ($50-$70/hour) with full-time benefits.

AnthroMed Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide full-time, onsite therapy services in Monroe, Michigan! You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students across two FMLA coverage roles.

  • Role 1: Early Childhood Through Transition-Age Students (Ages 3–26)Support students in working toward functional goals, with plenty of opportunities for push-in services and co-treatment with other providers. You’ll also help secondary students develop vocational skills and prepare for greater independence.
  • Role 2: Traditional School-Based OT (K–12)Work across K–12 buildings to support students of varying ages, abilities, and needs in a more traditional school-based occupational therapy role.

    • Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time occupational therapy services, Monday-Friday.
  • Conduct evaluations, help develop IFSPs/IEPs as appropriate, and implement evidence-based interventions to address fine motor and sensory regulation needs.
  • Collaborate with families, classroom teachers, and other related service providers to support students’ skills across both classroom and individual settings including in the home.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Utilize IEP system for management and compliance.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.

    • Qualifications

  • Certification as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration skills, and a passion for working with diverse student populations.
